Glen Mouat, Violin

Glen Mouat is a violinist currently studying at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, under the mentorship of Maya Iwabuchi and Donnie Deacon. He has performed in a variety of settings as a soloist, chamber musician, and orchestral player. Glen has had the opportunity to appear as a guest leader with ensembles such as the Aberdeen Sinfonietta and Aberdeen University Symphony Orchestra.

Glen is also the leader of the Bridge Trio and has recently performed the Scottish Fantasy by Bruch with the FTO, alongside a recital featuring works by Robert and Clara Schumann. His performances reflect his ongoing development as an artist, balancing both the joy of performance and a commitment to growth.
