Join Classicopia for our annual Piano Quartet program featuring four phenomenal musicians together for one weekend only in the Upper Valley.  Ralph Allen, violin and Iris Jortner, cello are the husband and wife team who live in Israel but spend a few weeks in the region performing with Opera North and always love to conclude their stay with an exciting Quartet program.  Marcia Cassidy, the long-time viola faculty at Dartmouth and an Upper Valley fixture, will join Artistic Director Daniel Weiser on piano for this exciting program called “OPUS ONE” that will feature two piano quartets by Felix Mendelssohn and Josef Suk that are remarkable first published works by these great composers.  Also included is the very fun and folk-influenced final movement of the E Flat Minor Piano Quartet by Suk’s mentor and father-in-law, Antonin Dvorak.   You will not want to miss this exciting concert that will be performed in three different venues in the region, including a House Concert in Hanover as well as public concerts in Hanover and Lebanon.
