Join the incredible violinist Roseminna Watson, a Hanover native, as she returns to perform a powerful and lyrical program of music for violin and piano by six different women composers. Watson, known for her barefoot and kinetic playing, has amazed Upper Valley audiences since she was a young prodigy, who actually performed with Classicopia as a Young Artist at one of our first concerts over 20 years ago. Now living and freelancing in Providence, RI, Watson always brings an intense and visceral energy to her performances. On this program, we will perform some sadly neglected, but truly thrilling works by Clara Schumann, Amy Beach, Pauline Viardot, Amanda Rontgen-Maier, Rebeccah Clarke, and Florence Price. You will not want to miss it!
